Invoice price difference calculator.
Calculate how much more (or less) a supplier billed than the purchase order. Includes quantity differences. Enter four numbers below; everything is calculated locally on your device.
What does invoice price variance mean?
Unit-price variance is invoice unit price − purchase order unit price. Multiply it by ordered quantity to see the price-only difference. A positive value can indicate a supplier price increase or a correction that needs review.
Why compare quantities too?
Even with identical prices, an invoice can exceed the original order if the supplier charges for additional units. Our decomposition uses ordered quantity × price difference plus invoice price × quantity difference, which exactly adds up to the total billed difference.
